Terms of use

Updated: 16 October 2026

These terms govern the use of the Ylumo app, published by SuperHelo SAS. By creating an account, you accept them.

The service

Ylumo identifies numbers that call you without being in your contacts and flags unwanted calls. The service is free. Available features depend on your system: on iPhone, Apple doesn't allow showing a name live for every number.

Your account

An account is tied to a mobile number you own, verified with a code. You are responsible for how your account is used. You can delete it at any time in the app.

Permitted use

Ylumo is for knowing who is calling you and protecting yourself from unwanted calls. You may not:

  • use Ylumo to harass, track or locate a person;
  • extract data from the service automatically or in bulk;
  • skew reports, for example with several accounts;
  • suggest an abusive name for a number, or one you know to be false;
  • work around the app's technical protections.

Your contributions

Reports, suggested names and shared contacts let us identify numbers for all users. You allow us to use them for this purpose, in aggregated form, for as long as your account exists. You confirm they are made in good faith.

Accuracy

The information shown comes from external sources and the community. We cross-check it, but we cannot guarantee it is accurate or complete. A call labelled as spam may be legitimate, and the other way round. Don't make important decisions based on an identification alone.

Suspension

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Contributions from a suspended account no longer count.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for a call that was missed, wrongly blocked or misidentified.

Changes

We may update these terms. For any significant change, we will let you know in the app before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after trying to settle it amicably by writing to dpo@ylumo.com, the courts of Paris have jurisdiction, subject to consumer protection rules.
